LiuGong Supports Recovery Efforts in Disaster-Affected Areas in Padang

Jakarta, 4 December 2025 — PT LiuGong Machinery Indonesia expresses its deep concern over the floods and landslides that have struck Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. As part of its support for accelerated recovery efforts, LiuGong has deployed one unit of the 922E excavator to assist in the clearing of affected areas.

The excavator unit is a LiuGong asset placed at Politeknik Negeri Padang as a learning facility for its heavy-equipment vocational education program. As part of this collaboration, LiuGong and Politeknik Negeri Padang coordinated with the government to deploy the unit to the disaster site. The machine is currently supporting recovery operations in Batu Busuk Village, Lambung Bukit Subdistrict, Pauh District, Padang City.
