LiuGong has officially launched its latest generation of F Series excavators in Indonesia, marking a new chapter in heavy equipment innovation—delivering smarter, more efficient, environmentally friendly, and more durable solutions for a wide range of industries. The new series represents the pinnacle of LiuGong’s excavator technology evolution, developed over more than three decades.
Designed based on real on-site operational needs, the F Series offers a superior combination of intelligent technology, fuel efficiency, operator comfort, and high durability—making it an ideal solution across industries including mining, construction, agriculture, and forestry.
“The launch of the F Series is not just about introducing a new product—it’s about setting a new industry benchmark. Every unit is engineered to help our customers work smarter, reduce costs, and achieve higher productivity, even in the most demanding conditions,” said Emir Ferazta, Director of Product and Electric Vehicle at PT LiuGong Machinery Indonesia.
The launch took place as part of the F Series Roadshow in Pekanbaru, a strategic city for LiuGong’s market development in Indonesia. The event provided customers with the opportunity to experience firsthand the performance and advanced technologies of the new machines. Following Pekanbaru, LiuGong will introduce the F Series lineup to customers in several major cities across Indonesia.

Technology That Delivers Real Impact
The F Series is equipped with advanced features such as Smart Work & Smart Operation, a web-based Machine Monitoring System, and safety technologies including Anti-Collision and Electronic Fence.
On the performance side, the latest hydraulic system—Intelligent Control System 2.0—enables operators to precisely configure working modes, motion priorities, and attachments. Combined with customized engine tuning and an intelligent pump system, this results in maximum power with minimal fuel consumption.

In terms of efficiency, LiuGong’s latest technology can improve productivity by up to 15%. “Overall, the F Series can reduce fuel consumption by up to 16%, which directly lowers operational costs,” Emir added.
In addition, the F Series excavators are designed to support environmentally friendly fuels such as biodiesel. Another key advantage is the extended maintenance interval of up to 500 hours, significantly reducing downtime and operating costs.
A Long-Term Commitment
With over 65 years of experience, LiuGong has grown into a global powerhouse with 26 manufacturing facilities and 17 Research and Development centers, supported by more than 500 dealers worldwide.
In Indonesia, this commitment has been demonstrated through investments exceeding USD 200 million since 2006. Market trust has grown significantly, with sales increasing from around 150 units in 2018 to more than 3,000 units in 2025.
To further strengthen its ecosystem, LiuGong has introduced financing services through LiuGong Finance Indonesia and is currently preparing to build a local manufacturing facility.
“Indonesia is one of our most important markets globally. Our vision is clear: to establish Indonesia as one of LiuGong’s Global Headquarters by 2026. We are here not for the short term, but to grow alongside our customers,” Emir concluded.
